RTX Corporation subsidiary Raytheon has secured a $3.7 billion contract to supply Guidance Enhanced Missile–Tactical (GEM-T) interceptors for Ukraine’s MIM-104 Patriot network, strengthening its air defense capabilities against diverse airborne threats, including ballistic missiles.

Manufacturing will be supported by RTX’s production line in Schrobenhausen, Germany, operated through the COMLOG joint venture between Raytheon and MBDA Deutschland. The facility will also handle direct commercial orders from partner nations while continuing to support Ukraine’s defense requirements.

Ukraine began operating Patriot systems in 2023 and confirmed fresh missile deliveries from allied countries in April 2026. At present, it fields about 10 active batteries, totaling approximately 60 launchers and 600 interceptors. Worldwide, the Patriot air defense system is deployed across 19 nations.
