Raytheon and Cubic Secure Communications are collaborating to supply Common Data Link (CDL) systems to Poland as part of the country’s growing intelligence and reconnaissance modernization efforts.

The CDL system links airborne and land-based terminals with supporting equipment, enabling ground controllers to receive, manage, and distribute live reconnaissance intelligence in real time. Cubic will conduct work at its San Diego facility, while integration activities will be led by Raytheon in Westford, Massachusetts.

According to Cubic, the CDL solution will enhance the capabilities of the MS-110 reconnaissance pod, which delivers high-resolution intelligence collection, stand-off surveillance, and multispectral imaging for detecting concealed targets and military activity. The system also supports rapid transmission of battlefield data between aircraft and command networks.

The MS-110 can be fitted onto a wide range of platforms, including F-16, F-15, F/A-18, and Gripen fighter aircraft, as well as unmanned systems and larger platforms such as the C-130 transport aircraft. Poland became the first NATO ally and the fourth export customer to acquire the MS-110 through a January 2026 deal with Raytheon.
