India is developing a compact air-to-ground (A2G) missile that could enhance the strike capabilities of its future unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fleet.
The lightweight weapon is projected to weigh around 10–15 kilograms (22–33 pounds), measure up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) in length, and accommodate a warhead weighing as much as 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds).
The missile’s guidance architecture will integrate an Inertial Navigation System with a Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module. The combination is designed to provide reliable navigation in environments where GPS signals are denied, degraded, or subject to interference.
