The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded MBDA a £118M ($160M) contract for six Land Ceptor air defense missile launchers. The three-year deal includes 12 ammunition support vehicles, eight baggage vehicles, and eight threat evaluation and weapon assignment systems. A core part of the Sky Sabre system, Land Ceptor can operate independently or within an integrated network, providing rapid point and area defense using MBDA UK’s Common Anti-Air Modular missiles.
