Israeli defense company SMARTSHOOTER has secured a major order from an Asia-Pacific nation for several hundred SMASH 3000 fire control systems.
The systems will be deployed for counter-drone missions and precision ground-target engagement, following extensive field trials and evaluations in which the customer expressed high satisfaction with performance.
In announcing the deal, the Haifa-based firm emphasized that the acquisition highlights trust in its technology to address evolving battlefield threats while enhancing the personal protection of frontline troops.
Transforming Firearms
SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH series integrates AI, computer vision, and advanced algorithms to transform standard firearms into smart precision platforms. Using onboard computing, the systems lock onto targets, track movements, and release shots with pinpoint accuracy.
The SMASH family—available in handheld, remote-operated, and unmanned vehicle-mounted versions—boosts mission success, situational awareness, and shooting efficiency. The SMASH 3000, introduced in 2022, is the lightest model.
Different SMASH variants are already in service with forces across the US, Israel, Europe, the UK, and NATO members, enhancing precision and connectivity on the battlefield.
