Milrem Robotics, an Estonian developer of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), has signed a cooperation agreement with South Korea’s Hanwha Systems to investigate the integration of advanced payload technologies into tactical unmanned ground platforms.
The partnership aims to strengthen UGV capabilities by incorporating sensors, electronic warfare equipment, and weapon systems designed to support force protection and safeguard critical infrastructure.
Through the collaboration, Hanwha Systems’ payload solutions will be evaluated for compatibility with Milrem Robotics’ combat-proven UGV platforms, expanding their mission versatility and enhancing support for diverse operational requirements.
