Patria has supplied a full mission simulator for its AMV platform to the Slovak Armed Forces, developed in partnership with Virtual Reality Media and Konštrukta Defence. The system replicates the Patria AMV XP 8×8 vehicle, allowing crews to train in a wide range of operational scenarios within a controlled setting.
The simulator enables both individual and team-based training, with adjustable and repeatable scenarios that reflect different mission conditions. By reducing reliance on physical vehicles, it helps cut costs, limit equipment wear, and support more frequent training.
Patria has also expanded its activities across Europe this year. In Latvia, it secured a lifecycle support contract for the 6×6 Common Armored Vehicle System fleet, focusing on maintenance and sustainment. In Germany, the company delivered its first batch of 6×6 armored vehicles as part of efforts to modernize mobility capabilities.
The firm has additionally entered the aviation sector through an agreement with Pratt & Whitney to support Finland’s F-35 program. As part of the deal, Patria will assemble F135 engines locally, with future plans to take on maintenance and repair responsibilities.
