The US Army has awarded MSM North America, part of Czechoslovak Group, a $632M contract to build a state-of-the-art large-caliber ammunition facility at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. The Future Artillery Complex will be completed in 40 months, with production starting September 2029. Using modern manufacturing technologies, it will produce up to 36,000 155mm rounds per month, enhancing US and allied readiness amid growing geopolitical tensions.
