Turkish defense company Roketsan has conducted successful tests of its ÇAKIR cruise missile from mobile ground-based launch platforms, demonstrating the weapon’s compatibility with multiple launch systems.
During two separate test firings, the missile successfully engaged both land and maritime targets, while a newly developed fuel system enabled it to achieve an extended operational range.
The latest trials expand the ÇAKIR’s demonstrated capabilities beyond its earlier air-launched configuration, representing a significant milestone in Roketsan’s efforts to develop the missile into a versatile multi-domain strike system.
