Teledyne FLIR Defense is expanding its vehicle sensing capabilities with a new suite of high-definition imaging solutions aimed at delivering full-circle situational awareness under complex operational conditions.

The lineup includes the ThermoVision SA90-HD, DV55-HD, and MilSight LIRC III, each tailored to support vehicle crews with enhanced visibility and threat detection.

The SA90-HD combines electro-optical and infrared imaging technologies to provide real-time, low-latency video for navigation and tactical awareness. Its integration of thermal and visible-spectrum imagery enables effective operation in challenging environments such as darkness, rain, fog, and smoke. The system’s 90-degree viewing angle ensures consistent close-range surveillance even as the vehicle maneuvers.

Meanwhile, the DV55-HD serves as a front-mounted driver vision system featuring dual EO/IR sensors and a 55-degree field of view. Delivering high-definition 1280p imagery, it merges sensor outputs to improve visibility and threat recognition across varying lighting and weather conditions.

The MilSight LIRC III thermal imager extends the suite’s capabilities with long-range observation functionality. Featuring selectable wide and narrow viewing modes, advanced digital imaging, and electronic zoom, the compact system weighs under 9 kilograms and is optimized for infantry fighting vehicle applications.

The systems made their public debut at Eurosatory 2026 and are now available for defense and commercial users seeking advanced vehicle vision solutions.
