A next-generation 300-kilowatt directed-energy weapon being developed in India is intended to counter modern aerial and emerging threats at distances reaching 20 kilometers (12.4 miles).
The platform integrates sophisticated beam-generation architecture with high-gain supersonic nozzles, centrifugal bubble-based components, and a sealed exhaust control system to enhance performance and operational stability.
For extended-range operations, the weapon features an advanced beam-control mechanism and a 60-centimeter (23.6-inch) output aperture engineered to maintain precise and stable beam delivery over long distances.
