A key feature of Patria’s latest passive radar is its ability to detect and track incoming fire without emitting signals that could expose its position. The advanced system can reportedly follow as many as 500 projectiles at the same time, enhancing battlefield surveillance and threat monitoring capabilities.
The radar employs Passive Coherent Location technology to conduct continuous tracking while remaining electronically silent. By using digital television transmitters as external signal sources, the platform achieves wide-area coverage exceeding 100 degrees in azimuth and supports high-speed tracking of multiple targets simultaneously.
