On the 104th anniversary of Türkiye’s August 30 Victory Day, the first HÜRJET jet trainer intended for the Turkish Air Force has successfully completed its maiden flight, marking a significant milestone in the aircraft’s development and progress toward operational service.
Developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), HÜRJET is an indigenous, single-engine, tandem-seat supersonic advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft designed to support Türkiye’s next-generation military pilot training and light-attack requirements.
