The UH-60 Black Hawk has received a major sensor upgrade with the integration of a new advanced observation system. Raytheon recently conducted flight tests of its RAIVEN Staring system, utilizing the helicopter as a testbed for evaluating performance.
Even in complete darkness, the system demonstrated its capability by accurately mapping diverse terrains such as cities, wetlands, and coastlines, leveraging its air-cooled triple-sensor suite.
