Kodiak AI is deploying its autonomous vehicle technology within the US Marine Corps, embedding its artificial intelligence-based driving system into the Corps’ Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.
Central to the initiative is the Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires (ROGUE-Fires) carrier, which will leverage the “Kodiak Driver” to conduct missions autonomously, particularly in contested or high-threat settings.
The capability aims to streamline ROGUE-Fires mission execution and improve force protection by limiting personnel involvement in hazardous operations.
