Collins Aerospace, a unit of RTX, has signed a set of three-year agreements aimed at expanding support for wheels and brakes used on the C-130 Hercules fleet.

Under the deals with Integrated Procurement Technologies, S3 AeroDefense, and Derco, Collins will bolster logistics services, ensure greater hardware availability, and deliver comprehensive lifecycle support. The agreements are designed to improve operational readiness and streamline supply chains throughout the contract period.

Equipped with DURACARB technology, Collins’ wheels and brakes are fitted on more than 30,000 aircraft across military and commercial fleets. For U.S. and allied C-130 operators, consistent access to these components is essential to sustain missions spanning tactical operations, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid.

Broader efforts to maintain and upgrade C-130 fleets have continued across partner forces. Earlier this year, Derco secured a performance-based logistics contract from the Defense Logistics Agency focused on enhancing spare parts availability and overseeing inventory and engineering support for the Hercules aircraft.

In parallel, the U.S. has supported allied airlift capabilities through aircraft transfer initiatives. As part of the Excess Defense Articles program, the Philippine Air Force received a C-130H aircraft in February 2024, strengthening its logistics reach and humanitarian response capacity.
