RBSL’s Challenger 3 program has achieved a key milestone as the British Army completes pre-production vehicle trials. Conducted across multiple UK sites with QinetiQ, the testing evaluated performance over 789 km of road and cross-country terrain, emphasizing noise, vibration, and crew interface. The £800 million initiative will supply 148 tanks by 2030, incorporating modular armor to enhance crew protection and maintain battlefield relevance. Production utilizes a European supply chain with facilities in the West Midlands, Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne, and the Isle of Wight.
