China has developed AR headsets for use in armored vehicles, designed to give crew members—commanders, drivers, and gunners—a clearer field of vision and quicker reaction capability.
Linked to a network of cameras and sensors mounted on the vehicle, the headsets project a full 360-degree live feed onto a heads-up display.
The system allows crews to effectively see beyond the armored hull, overcoming the traditional visibility limitations of heavily armored combat vehicles.
