KBR has secured a task order worth as much as $208 million to provide operational and technical support to the US Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office.
The Texas-headquartered defense contractor will continue serving as the program’s prime contractor under the agreement. Its responsibilities will center on streamlining acquisition processes and accelerating the fielding of advanced precision-strike systems designed to address changing battlefield requirements.
KBR’s support will span the complete capability lifecycle, including engineering and technology development, rapid prototyping, modernization activities, foreign military sales, and worldwide logistics support.
The contract will also support broader Army transformation initiatives focused on multi-domain operations, aviation lethality, and counter-drone capabilities.
TAGM is managed under the Army’s Portfolio Acquisition Executive FIRES and plays a key role in fielding a range of aviation and ground-based precision weapons. Its portfolio includes the AGM-114 Hellfire, Joint Air-to-Ground Missile, Javelin, TOW, Hydra rockets, and Long-Range Precision Munitions.
The five-year effort will be conducted by KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions business, which is expected to become an independent entity under the name Trinzic.
