Lockheed Martin’s Owego, New York, facility has delivered the US Navy’s 350th MH‑60R Seahawk helicopter to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM)-41.

HSM‑41 is tasked with training pilots and aircrew of the US Pacific Fleet on the Seahawk, which has been the Navy’s cornerstone for anti-submarine and anti-surface operations since 2010.

The helicopter features an open-architecture avionics suite, advanced sensor systems, electronic support measures, secure data links, and a weapons loadout that includes AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and MK 54 torpedoes.

Since entering service in 2006, the MH-60R has conducted operational missions, including counter-drone operations in the Gulf of Aden and neutralizing Houthi-armed skiffs in the Red Sea.

Manufactured by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary, the Seahawk is projected to remain in service until the 2050s and is also used or ordered by allied nations like Australia, India, Greece, and Spain.
