The US State Department has approved a potential foreign military sale worth nearly $236 million to support Kuwait’s KC-130J transport aircraft fleet. The package includes maintenance services, spare parts, software support, training, logistics assistance, and engineering services designed to sustain fleet readiness over the next five years. The agreement supports Kuwait’s broader military modernization efforts while ensuring the continued operational availability of a critical airlift and support platform. The program also demonstrates ongoing defense cooperation between Washington and Kuwait amid evolving regional security challenges.
