Tobyhanna Army Depot is undertaking a major modernization effort to expand radar testing and calibration facilities in response to growing demand from advanced radar and electronic warfare programs. The multi-phase project includes the expansion of existing testing infrastructure, the construction of additional radomes and test pads, and the future addition of a dedicated calibration tower. Once completed, the upgraded facility will significantly increase testing capacity for both current and next-generation radar systems. The initiative supports the US Army’s broader efforts to accelerate the deployment of sophisticated sensing and electronic warfare technologies while ensuring testing accuracy and operational reliability.
