Renault Group and Thales have unveiled the “4 TROOP” prototype, a modified 4×4 vehicle developed to function as a mobile command hub for unmanned and autonomous systems.
Designed to control and coordinate UAVs and UGVs, the platform acts as a battlefield command-and-control center, enabling seamless management of robotic assets across a range of operational scenarios. The concept aims to provide military forces with a flexible and deployable solution for integrating unmanned capabilities into ground operations.
The system can be tailored to support different mission requirements and force structures. Thales has equipped the vehicle with its Combat Digital Platform, offering secure communications, tactical data sharing, and decision-aid capabilities that support real-time command and coordination in complex environments.
