Russia is proposing an integrated “Anti-Drone Dome” designed to counter unmanned aerial threats through a combination of five complementary defence layers. Developed as a concept by state-owned arms exporter ROSOBORONEXPORT, the system is intended to bring together airspace surveillance, weapon-based interception, electronic warfare and physical protection within a coordinated defence architecture. It also incorporates a geoinformation system linked to an automated command-and-control framework, enabling the integration of information and coordination of defensive measures. The multi-layered approach aims to address evolving drone threats by combining detection, electronic disruption, physical interception and protective measures rather than relying on a single counter-drone technology.
