Ukraine’s Come Back Alive Foundation has finalized a major procurement deal for around 16,500 tactical drones, marking one of the largest purchases ever undertaken by the charity in support of the country’s armed forces. The contract, worth more than 1.37 billion hryvnias ($30.9 million), covers a large number of long-range FPV drones intended to strengthen battlefield surveillance and precision strike missions.

According to Foundation Director Taras Chmut, the agreement represents a significant milestone for both the organization and Ukraine’s growing unmanned systems sector. The deal reflects the increasing importance of tactical drones in modern warfare and demonstrates the continued expansion of Ukraine’s indigenous drone ecosystem to meet operational demands.
