Canadian artificial intelligence company Caseway has partnered with Taiwan-based MiTAC Advance Technology to develop AI-driven decision intelligence solutions for Taiwan and allied defense markets. The collaboration combines Caseway’s expertise in advanced artificial intelligence software with MiTAC’s regional technology capabilities to develop proof-of-concept systems supporting complex military operations. Initial development efforts will focus on counter-drone missions, maritime surveillance, multi-sensor data fusion, and real-time operational decision support for defense organizations facing increasingly sophisticated security challenges. By integrating information from multiple sensors into a unified decision-making environment, the technologies aim to provide commanders with faster situational awareness, improved threat detection, and more informed operational planning. The partnership reflects growing international investment in artificial intelligence for defense applications, particularly across the Indo-Pacific region where advanced surveillance, autonomous systems, and rapid information processing are becoming increasingly important. Successful demonstrations could support broader deployment of AI-enabled command and control technologies across allied security networks.
