During the Talisman Sabre 2025 exercise with Australia, the US military deployed an electronic warfare system from L3Harris to detect surface radars on a naval vessel. The cloud-based Distributed Spectrum Collaboration and Operations (DiSCO) platform streamlines decision-making by integrating data from battlefield sensors, communication networks, and other sources into a unified EW network. In the drills, it processed and coordinated information received from a linked aircraft and two Seasats Lightfish autonomous vessels carrying compact EW payloads. The system was also showcased last year during the US Indo-Pacific Command’s Valiant Shield 2024 exercise, involving Japan, Canada, and France. In December, it was demonstrated again in Washington, DC, mounted on a Seasats Lightfish vessel, collecting radio frequency data for analysis.
