The US Army and Lockheed Martin have achieved a new milestone in rocket artillery capability following a successful test of the Extended-Range Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (ER-GMLRS).
Launched from White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, the ER-GMLRS reached a distance of 112 kilometers, demonstrating a significant increase in operational range. The test featured an Alternative Warhead configuration deployed from a HIMARS launcher, validating the system’s accuracy and lethality against dispersed targets.
