FNSS is seeking to enhance crew protection during amphibious assaults with its İ-ZAHA multi-purpose unmanned modular amphibious vehicle, also known as the U-MAV.
The 8-ton (7,257-kilogram) unmanned platform is designed for both land and water operations, achieving a maximum speed of 7 knots (13 kilometers/8 miles per hour) in water and up to 70 kilometers (44 miles per hour) on land.
A key feature of the İ-ZAHA is its modular architecture, which allows the vehicle to be configured for 10 different missions. The interchangeable payload modules can be swapped in field conditions within approximately 40 minutes, providing greater operational flexibility for amphibious forces.
