Italy has increased its procurement of Iveco Defence Vehicles’ tactical logistics trucks, adding 658 new units for a total of 2,111 platforms under a long-term delivery program running to 2039. The vehicles reflect IDV’s latest design standard and will be produced in multiple mission configurations, including utility transports, tanker variants, container carriers, recovery systems, and towing vehicles. The agreement includes comprehensive support, sustainment, and readiness services. With these additions, the Italian Army will phase out older logistics assets and standardize its transport fleet, improving efficiency and resilience across domestic and expeditionary operations.
