Allen Control Systems (ACS), headquartered in Texas, has signed defense supply contracts with South Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its “Bullfrog” autonomous counter-drone weapon systems.

The contracts also cover training, technical assistance, and system sustainment, though the quantities and contract values remain undisclosed.

About the Bullfrog

ACS’s Bullfrog system is an AI-powered autonomous weapon platform marketed as a scalable solution for kinetic drone defense. Designed for both land and naval use, it supports legacy and modern weapons systems, delivering precise targeting and engagement capabilities against drones.

Available in four variants — M240, M2, M230, and M134 — the Bullfrog can counter small to medium uncrewed aerial systems (Groups 1–3) over ranges between 800 and 1,500 meters (2,625–4,921 feet).

All models incorporate passive sensing technology and an open-architecture design for seamless integration with existing command-and-control infrastructure.

In addition to its new export contracts, ACS has partnered with Romania to co-produce the Bullfrog and is expanding its presence in Asia and Europe to support regional customers.

The company also holds a ManTech contract to fit Bullfrog systems on maritime platforms for U.S. Special Operations Forces.

In recent trials, ACS demonstrated the system for the Pentagon, mounting it on Abrams tanks and Bradley IFVs to showcase its autonomous counter-drone performance.
