To strengthen counter-drone capabilities, the US Army has introduced a new fire control software package designed for mobile weapon platforms. The system enables accurate engagement of small unmanned aerial vehicles while both the drone and the firing vehicle are maneuvering.

The software leverages technology originally developed under the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft initiative and uses real-time sensor inputs to sustain precision targeting during movement. Built on an open and modular framework, the solution facilitates the swift incorporation of future enhancements and simplifies deployment across a wide range of Army platforms.
