CACI International has secured a task order worth as much as $212 million over five years to support enterprise network modernization at multiple US Space Force installations.
The award falls under the Pentagon’s Enterprise IT as a Service Base Infrastructure Modernization initiative, a program with a $12.5 billion ceiling designed to maintain resilient digital, cyber, and communications infrastructure across the US Air Force and Space Force.
CACI’s scope of work includes the unification and modernization of legacy network systems to strengthen secure connectivity and data flow in support of expanding mission requirements. The project will upgrade base area networks linking barracks, administrative facilities, and command-and-control nodes across 14 Space Force bases.
The contract builds on CACI’s broader defense technology portfolio. In December, the company also received a separate contract, valued at up to $79 million, to assist the US Army in countering electronic warfare threats. That effort involves the development of radio-frequency-based tools for the Combat Capabilities Development Command, supporting wider initiatives to improve electronic countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal operations, and overall battlefield survivability.
