Auterion has conducted a live-fire demonstration of a combat drone swarm at a US military range in Florida, showcasing one-to-many lethal strike capability using small, expendable unmanned systems. During the test, a single operator simultaneously controlled three autonomous strike drones armed with explosively formed penetrator warheads supplied by Kraken Kinetics. Each drone successfully engaged a separate target. The system relies on Auterion’s Skynode hardware and Nemyx swarm engine software, which autonomously manages navigation, formation control, deconfliction, and terminal guidance. This architecture allows a single operator to command multiple drones, enabling small units to conduct strikes that previously required artillery or air support. The demonstration follows earlier tests in which Auterion unified drones from multiple manufacturers under a single operating system. In October 2025, the company also finalized the Artemis long-range strike drone under a US Defense Innovation Unit program, featuring visual navigation for GNSS-denied environments and precision terminal guidance.
