Washington has cleared a $4 billion Patriot missile sale to Qatar and authorized almost $1 billion in precision weapons sales to Israel, the US announced Friday.
According to State Department notifications to Congress, the deals are intended to advance US national security and foreign policy goals as conflict persists across the Middle East.
