CACI International has secured an $85 million deal to provide ongoing engineering and technical services for the US Navy’s fleet, covering ships, submarines, and other naval systems.
The contract, awarded through the SeaPort Next Generation program, encompasses data analysis, software engineering, and modernization of onboard control systems, supporting both next-generation vessel development and the upkeep of current assets.
As part of the program, CACI will focus on advancing ship design software and automated control technologies to improve efficiency and performance, alongside reinforcing cybersecurity to protect critical naval infrastructure and operational data.
Expanding Portfolio
This contract highlights CACI’s growing presence across advanced defense sectors. Recently, the company completed its $2.6 billion acquisition of ARKA Group, strengthening its capabilities in space intelligence.
ARKA contributes advanced sensing technologies—including electro-optical, infrared, and hyperspectral systems—as well as AI-enabled geospatial intelligence solutions.
Additionally, in February, CACI reached a major milestone with its Spectral electronic warfare system, which received Milestone C approval from the US Navy. This approval enables the transition to low-rate initial production and deployment across the fleet.
With an estimated value of $1.2 billion, the Spectral system equips naval vessels with the ability to monitor and analyze activity across radar, communications, and the electromagnetic spectrum, significantly improving operational awareness and decision-making.
