India is deploying a rugged, locally developed robotic asset meant to take on the high-risk tasks that pose the greatest danger to soldiers.
Known as the SapperScout Ver 2.0, the platform is a completely unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed to execute various frontline missions without exposing personnel to threats.
At approximately 380 kilograms (838 pounds), it incorporates sophisticated sensors, ultrasonic detectors, and AI-based navigation to maneuver around obstacles and follow designated routes.
