Bharat Supply & Support Alliance (BSS) has unveiled its TRIYAM-3D “Detect | Decide | Destroy” system, an advanced AI-powered air defence platform developed to counter the increasing threat of drones and swarm attacks. The system combines detection, decision-making, and engagement functions into a unified, compact solution, strengthening India’s indigenous counter-UAS ecosystem.

Designed for automated and layered defence, TRIYAM-3D leverages artificial intelligence to identify, analyze, and neutralize aerial threats with minimal operator input, meeting the demands of modern battlefields where rapid reaction is essential.

The system features a triple-barrel Gatling gun optimized for high-rate fire against drones at close to medium ranges. By adopting a gun-based hard-kill approach, it provides a cost-effective alternative to missile systems, especially in swarm scenarios involving large numbers of low-cost targets.

With a projected hit probability exceeding 90%, TRIYAM-3D uses AI-enabled fire control and tracking systems to deliver precise engagements. Its operational range of up to 1,000 meters makes it suitable for point defence roles, safeguarding critical installations and strategic assets.

The platform’s lightweight and modular design — under 150 kg excluding armament — enhances mobility and allows integration on various platforms, including ground vehicles and fixed sites. Its turret offers 360-degree coverage, enabling it to counter threats from all directions effectively.

Powered by an AI-driven “Detect | Decide | Destroy” architecture, the system ensures fast sensor-to-shooter response cycles, autonomously processing data, prioritizing threats, and executing engagements. This capability is especially important in swarm defence, where multiple targets must be addressed simultaneously.

TRIYAM-3D highlights a growing shift toward intelligent, gun-based air defence solutions that complement missile systems, providing scalable and economically viable protection against modern drone threats.
