During its 133rd military anniversary parade in Malé, the Maldives revealed the Ajban 442A armored vehicles for the first time. These UAE-made 4×4 platforms are designed for command, control, and reconnaissance operations. Their acquisition was confirmed by EDGE Group, which delivered them through its subsidiary NIMR Automotive under a growing defense partnership with the Maldives. EDGE emphasized the move as part of its broader strategy to supply advanced mobility solutions to regional allies.
