Turkey has achieved a key milestone in its electronic warfare program with the maiden flight of its first stand-off jammer (SOJ) aircraft, created by converting a business jet into a specialized electronic attack platform.

The aircraft, based on the Bombardier Global 6000, forms the backbone of the HAVA SOJ system, which is designed to disrupt hostile communications and electronic networks without entering contested airspace.

Using advanced jamming and electronic deception technologies, the platform can target both conventional and modern communication systems while operating discreetly and remaining outside the range of enemy detection.
