Taiwan has unveiled two domestically developed drones and a wheeled tank prototype, underscoring its growing focus on self-sufficient defense.
The announcement, made through a Military News Agency video, showcased a bomb-dropping multirotor UAV, a fixed-wing loitering munition, and the “D3” 105mm wheeled tank.
Produced by the Armaments Bureau’s 202nd Plant in partnership with private firms, the drones are tailored for asymmetric warfare, prioritizing rapid assembly, scalability, and affordability.
