In partnership with BAE Systems, the U.S. Air Force is developing an AI-powered platform to assist medics in tracking and treating injuries more effectively during combat operations.
The system, called BATDOK (Battlefield Assisted Trauma Distributed Operations Kit), facilitates real-time medical recordkeeping across the entire continuum of care—from injury site to rehabilitation.
With synchronized data at each stage, BATDOK is expected to minimize mistakes and provide medics with the critical, up-to-date information needed for timely interventions.
