Textron Systems has selected Vivace International Corporation to provide mission-critical components for the Cottonmouth Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle, reinforcing the US Marine Corps’ next-generation combat vehicle program. The partnership supports Textron’s 2026 agreement to produce 16 pre-production ARVs, along with three systems integration laboratories and four blast hulls, to improve the Marines’ expeditionary mobility, firepower, logistics, and C4UAS capabilities. Manufacturing and integration work will be carried out at Vivace’s aerospace and defense centers within NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, where the company will apply high-precision engineering and advanced production technologies to support the program. According to Vivace, the award further strengthens its growing presence in the aerospace and defense sectors. New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno welcomed the collaboration, noting that it represents an important boost for the city’s economic development and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
