Lockheed Martin has concluded a series of industrial cooperation agreements tied to the Czech Republic’s acquisition of F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

The milestone includes 11 framework agreements that enable collaboration between Lockheed Martin and local Czech companies, strengthening the country’s industrial participation throughout the program. This follows a separate agreement with Ray Services, which will support production of wire harnesses for the incoming fleet.

Prague signed a memorandum of understanding with the United States in 2024 to procure 24 F-35 aircraft, after first announcing its intent in 2023 to replace its aging JAS 39 Gripen fleet ahead of its planned retirement before 2030.

Lockheed will collaborate with 12 Czech industrial and academic partners during the program, creating long-term economic benefits, including job creation, technology transfer, supply chain integration, and sustainment support. Production of the aircraft is scheduled to begin in 2027.
