Milrem Robotics of Estonia and Australia’s EOS Defence Systems have entered into a strategic teaming agreement aimed at advancing unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) technologies and expanding collaboration in combat autonomy systems.

The alliance will focus on joint research and development of network-centric operational solutions, enabling integrated connectivity between sensors, weapons, and Milrem’s UGV platforms.

Planned capability development includes the integration of counter-UAS systems, missile and grenade launchers, heavy-caliber UGV weapon modules, and laser-based technologies over the course of the partnership.

The companies will also pursue co-development initiatives, exchange specialized technical expertise, and streamline pathways to market deployment and operationalization of autonomous ground systems.

Initial commercialization efforts will concentrate on MENA, Asia-Pacific, and European markets, with potential future opportunities in the US depending on defense requirements.

Key focus countries include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and selected European nations where the joint technology portfolio offers clear operational value.

In parallel, the partners will pursue new markets and customer groups of shared interest while executing coordinated marketing and business development campaigns.
