GA-ASI has signed a memorandum of understanding with Calidus Aerospace to jointly produce MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft and Gambit Collaborative Combat Aircraft in the UAE, strengthening local manufacturing and operational capabilities.

The agreement outlines cooperation across airframe production, final assembly, testing, flight acceptance, and the integration of command-and-control systems.

GA-Intelligence will participate in the program, providing battle management expertise and supporting the integration of operational software.

The UAE partnership is part of GA-ASI’s wider strategy to deepen international cooperation and expand its global presence.

Earlier, the company concluded an MoU with Qatar’s Barzan Holdings to jointly develop advanced battle management software designed to enhance theater-level situational awareness and intelligence exploitation.

That initiative integrates GA-ASI’s ISR platforms with GA-Intelligence’s analytics solutions to improve the speed and quality of decision-making in complex combat environments.

In February 2025, GA-ASI and CAE announced a long-term collaboration to design and produce next-generation mission trainers for the MQ-9B SkyGuardian.

Additionally, in 2025 GA-ASI partnered with South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace to explore joint development and production of the Gray Eagle Short Takeoff and Landing unmanned aircraft system.
