BAE Systems has entered into a partnership with systems integrator PragoData to deliver Integrated Product Support (IPS) solutions aimed at enhancing how the Czech defense sector manages its military assets.
In the initial phase, BAE Systems will supply PragoData with asset management software and lifecycle maintenance services. Drawing on both firms’ technical expertise, the partnership will support Czech defense organizations in modernizing and sustaining critical assets such as armored vehicles and complex systems.
At the center of this collaboration is PropheSEA, BAE’s proven asset management platform currently in use by the Royal Navy and NATO allies. The software enables real-time tracking of performance and maintenance while integrating with Eurostep’s ShareAspace platform—another BAE subsidiary—for secure data exchange and logistics coordination.
According to BAE Systems, the cooperation will enhance operational readiness across Czech defense forces while cutting equipment downtime.
Advancing Czech Defense Modernization
This partnership complements Czechia’s ongoing drive to strengthen its defense and industrial capabilities amid evolving regional security dynamics. The government aims to raise defense spending to three percent of GDP by 2030.
By introducing advanced digital logistics and lifecycle management tools, the BAE–PragoData agreement adds a technological boost to national modernization initiatives.
Recent milestones include domestic production expansion, new contracts for infantry fighting vehicles, and investments in defense industry digitization. Notably, 2025 saw Czechia receive its first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicle—part of a 200-unit order extending to 2030. Additionally, the government confirmed a purchase of 44 Leopard 2A8 tanks worth 32.76 billion Czech koruna ($1.56 billion), with deliveries expected between 2028 and 2031.
