Indra Group has signed a strategic agreement with ELT Group to intensify collaboration in multi-domain defense capabilities, reflecting a concerted drive toward European strategic and technological autonomy.
The accord sets out a shared framework for cooperation across land, space, and uncrewed aerial systems. It brings together Indra’s expertise in systems integration, radar, electronic warfare, and cyber defense with ELT’s specialization in electromagnetic spectrum operations, particularly signals intelligence and spectrum surveillance.
As electromagnetic spectrum dominance becomes central to modern combat operations, the partnership aims to deliver integrated, sovereign solutions that enhance resilience and operational superiority for European forces.
Broader Industrial Outreach
Over the last two years, Indra has strengthened its global defense partnerships. In February 2025, it concluded an MoU with Katim to co-market secure, encrypted mobile communication systems tailored to NATO and allied governments.
In March 2025, Indra and Rheinmetall Electronics extended their cooperation on modernizing the Leopard 2E combat system, focusing on next-generation fire control and command technologies.
Then, in November 2025, Indra partnered with EDGE Group to explore a Spain-based joint venture dedicated to advanced systems such as loitering munitions and precision-guided weapons, further expanding their earlier collaboration in radar and air defense solutions.
