Silvus Technologies has unveiled a new tactical networking solution designed to provide enhanced mission-critical communication capabilities in a compact form factor that can be worn on a soldier’s chest.
Known as the StreamCaster NEXUS, the system strengthens battlefield connectivity by delivering real-time access to video, voice, and data, supporting faster decision-making and improved situational awareness. Engineered for optimized size, weight, and power (SWaP), it offers troops greater mobility and operational flexibility in dynamic environments.
At its center is the Silvus SM5200 mobile ad hoc network (MANET) radio, capable of transmitting with up to two watts of power and supporting data throughput exceeding 100 megabits per second. The device is also compatible with Samsung S23 and S23 TE smartphones, enabling seamless communication and data integration.
