Germany’s Special Forces Command (KSK) and Flensburg Technology Systems (FTS) have unveiled a new 3.2-tonne (7,055-pound) Light Airborne Tactical Vehicle (TAHR) designed to provide high payload capacity in a compact tactical platform.
The vehicle is available in two configurations, tailored to different operational requirements: a combat variant and a support version. The platform can reportedly carry a payload approaching its own vehicle weight, providing flexibility for personnel, weapons and mission equipment.
Designed to accommodate three personnel, the combat variant can be configured with a range of weapon systems. Available armament options include a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, MG6 minigun or automatic grenade launcher, allowing the vehicle to support different tactical missions and operational scenarios.
